Bihar Sharif
Bihar Sharifis the fifth largest sub-Metropolitan area in the easternIndian stateofBihar, and it is thedistrictheadquarters ofNalanda district. Its name is a combination of two words "Bihar" derived from Buddha vihara as it is also the nameof state and "Sharif" due to rest place of great Sufi saint Sheikh Sharfuddin Yahya Maneri.
